im currently watching this j-drama titled, Nurse Aoi.
its about this nurse who worked under the emergency department. one snowy night, she needs to transfer this particular patient, Yamada-san, with a fracture leg due to an accident. Since the hospital is fully occupied with serious cases, he was sent to another hospital as his case is considered as minor.

on the way to the next hospital, the ambulance was stuck in a huge traffic jam. and since it's a local ambulance, it cant drive past all the vehicles 'cause it doesnt have a siren. the patient suddenly went tachypnea and became unconscious. he was actually having a pneumothorax. something might cause a puncture wound and air enters the lung.

then this nurse, ignored doctor's order and did a chest tube procedure, which only doctors are allowed to do and its illegal for a nurse. so she was demoted from a well-known emergency department to a local hospital medical ward. and has to face many challenges when her bad nursing records was spread across her new workplace.


yeah, that's basically how it starts. nice drama! (:

wonder how i'll be when i become staff nurse in the future.. ahh cant even imagine it. scary! :S
